gpu video filter: get frame dependencies lumetri error

Good morning,

I continue to have problems with Lumetri and turning the web, including this forum I see that we are many.

The error in question is called "gpu video filter: get frame dependencies" and it constantly comes out of me, and in addition to making my health worse, I'm slowing down my workflow in an embarrassing way!

I tried to install different versions including 2019 and the problem persists, I did some things read on the web but that does not change.

Now, I read responses on this forum from someone from Adobe that I prefer not to comment, so someone tell me something sensible since it is 10 years that I use (and pay) the programs of Adobe and I know what I say.

Since you pay a subscription there is no version of an Adobe program that is not full of bugs and I'm really fed up with being a betatester (it needed something at least) because I work with the programs!

Windows 10 pro 64bit

Intel Core I7 930 2.80ghz

ram 24G ddr3 333mhz

Gigabyte GA-X58-USB3 motherboard

SSD Crucial 250G

Premiere Pro CC 2019 keeps crashing after opening old projects and using 3rd party audio VST plugins! Why is this so?!

This has never been a problem for me and it is really frustrating trying to work on a video when every 3-4 minutes PP is crashing and not even giving me the error report option! This only has been happening since updating to the new CC 2019 earlier this week!! Please fix this IMMEDIATELY Adobe!

Kopierte Szene immer extra bearbeiten?

Hallo,

sein kurzem arbeite ich mit Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.

Ich habe ein animierte Szene kopiert (Siehe Bild). Das Problem ist jetzt immer wen ich eine von 5 bearbeiten will also den Text, ändert sich das bei jeder dieser Animationen. Kann mir hier vl wer helfen. Leider bleibt der text immer gleich egal welches ich bearbeite

premier pro is locking/freezing up. Need assistance?

I am having a relatively new issue with PP freezing.  It started around the time i got the go pro hero 7. Not sure if that is cause or if it's related, but that's about when i started noticing. I had to download a new codec to allow the hero 7 files to play on my windows. Also, my gh5 files seem to be slowing the software down now too. what should I be doing to diagnose what the issue could be? Is there any hardware components I could upgrade that would significantly improve my performance when running Premiere pro CC? my pc specs are below. Windows 10 INtel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 360GHz 32.0 GB RAM Nvidia Geforce GTX745 graphics. card. PP is installed on my C: SSD drive, and have my D: drive set up for scratch disks with 2.5TB of available space. Suggestions appreciated.

Can't draw a textfield.

Hi,

 

I am losing my mind, here. I was able to add a text field and edit it fine. Then I wanted to add a second text field in a different frame and it simply doesn't work. When I draw it doesn't show the red frame. It shows an effect panel and everything there is just nothing I can click and add the text to. Sometimes the Project window just turns black.

 

In another thread it said I should try restart Premiere holdin shift + alt. I did that. Didn't help.

 

Edit: I can blindly click in the invisible text field and type, but there is no cursor. It only doesn't type a @, and it doesn't indicate selected text. This very useless.

 

Any ideas?

Premiere Pro Low-Level Exception ERROR solved but still no playback

I had the "Low-Level Exception - lvcod64.dll - (GetAVIcodec)" issue in Premiere Pro. leaving me unable to play anything in the software.    I followed Forum suggestions and removed the Logitech Webcam Software & the "lvcod64.dll" from /Windows/System32/.  After doing that the "Low-Level Exception" ERROR has disappeared. But I still have no playback, anywhere in the software.

 

I have abandoned my time-sensitive work project and have tried working through this issue across the last 2 versions of Premiere Pro with new projects and new media. Still no playback. Please help!

 

My build:

  • i7-7700K
  • Z270 ASUSROGMaximus IX Formula
  • EVGAGTX-1080Ti 11GB
  • 32GB 3600mHz G.Skill TridentZ RGB
  • Windows 10 Pro
  • 12TB across SSD's & HDD's

All drivers are up to date. This is a new build, a week old.

Bug: Timeline playback is extremely laggy in CC 2019

I'd classify the current timeline playback implementation as very buggy in the most recent release. I'm running with up to date Nvidia drivers (with the latest version of Cuda), and in testing a project on the previous version and this version, the playback lag rendered editing in CC 2019 completely unusable.

 

Is anyone else dealing with similar issues? I'm on a Windows PC laptop, i7-7700HQ, 32 Gigs of ram. The previous version worked perfectly for editing GH5 10-bit footage. As a test, I have the same project setup in Davinci Resolve 15, and it plays and perfectly with zero lag.

 

Adobe, please fix the playback and Cuda acceleration problems in the latest version!

No playback in premier pro

Premier pro worked fine, has suddenly stopped playing back any media imported.

 

Deleted creative cloud and reinstalled apps, still not working.

 

tried easy setting fixes hasn't done anything.

Created project under wrong settings - how do I undo "set to frame size"?

I'm quite new to video editing and have been working on a new project - I created the video under the wrong settings which set my aspect ratio at 720x480 and I clicked "set to frame size" as my footage was quite magnified and I was not aware that my project was on the wrong settings... after exporting at 1080p, I was left with a black frame around my tiny video. I checked the properties of the videos and all of them are at 1920x1080p and I have created a new sequence at the correct settings (1920x1080) and copy pasted all my work to the new sequence, however now my video is just super small and the problem still consists when I try to export. Is there a way to reset the video back its original quality without losing all my editing?Screen Shot 2018-10-21 at 3.20.31 PM.png

EXPORTING

Hi guys,

I edited down a vacation video to 48 minutes in Premiere Pro. In my attempts to Export this finished video (File/Export/Media/ etc) the export process launches and then at about the 30 minute point ends announcing that the export is complete. No, no, no, no. no... About  the last15 minutes of the video is not exported. I can't figure out why the export doesn't export the entire 48 minute video from its start to its end instead ending off around the 30 minute mark.

 

What can I do to fix this problem?

PremierPro CC 2019 ImporterQuickTime.rpmクラッシュで起動しない

数日前に、PremierPro CC 2018からPremierPro CC 2019 にアップデートして、2-3日は使えていた。

本日、PremierPro CC 2019 起動時にImporterQuickTime.rpmクラッシュで起動しなくなった。

状況：Windows Exploreが停止して応答なしの状況から、PCを強制再起動した結果、この状況。

PC環境

CPU i7　メモリ32GB  グラフィックカードQuadro K4000　HDD起動用２TB、workspace ４TB

PremierPro CC2018は通常起動している。

 

実施したこと

１）PremierPro CC 2019 のアンインストールとインストール

２）CreativeCloudのアンインストールとインストール

表題から、光沢の項目で自分で選んだ色と表示されている色が違ってます。

Premiere 2018から2019にアップデートしてからこのようになってしまいました。

2019 System requirements - MacPro obsolescence?

Can the PP 2019 version run on ANY MacPro?

 

The incredibly unhelpful wording of the requirement for '6th generation Intel processor' has me worried that there is no official MacPro capable of running the latest software.

 

Firstly, how can one discern what generation of processor one has in their Mac? I have spent ages trying to find this information and I can't even find a relevant date for when they started production, let alone something equating to a name or a model in which they are found.

 

Further to that, I have found a wikipedia page which lists processor types and their related Macs. Due to my problems with working out what processor is what generation I am unclear (who'd a thunk it?), but it seems to me that the latest MacPro (dustbin version) is only available with processors from way before 6th generation (which I THINK is 'Skylake').

 

This is really confusing, but the implications for so many of us are very considerable, so we need clarity. My own model, which works beautifully with High Sierra, PP 12 and all the other 2018 CC apps, seems certain to fail the 6th gen test (MacPro 5,1, 6-core 3.33, 48GB RAM, GTX 680 Mac, 6G SSD system drive) as it's bound to have a fuddy-duddy processor. But, does this update really exclude EVERY MacPro?

 

Any clarity, suggestions etc most appreciated.

Footage resolution

Hey guys.

 

So i have a 640xsomething footage filmed with God knows what. I had to removed the background using after effects. In premiere i have  a 720p sequence where i need to put the footage. I scaled it to fit the sequence but when i export it looses a lot of quality. I export using h.264 and youtube 720p. Any thoughts on how i can increase the size of the footage without losing quality?

Play button stops responding , Media pending shows up in project panel .

ISSUE :

I have been working on a project from past few months . Initially everything was fine . Suddenly premier pro starts showing problems . While editing from no where PLAY BUTTON STOPS RESPONDING  . Everything works fines expect I can't play video . I have to restart the app to fix this problem . With time it starts showing another problem. While viewing clips to edit from project panel , it starts showing MEDIA PENDING and then after a while play button also stops responding . If I have to close the app due to media pending issue then I have to restart my PC altogether to start the app again.  It's very frustrating and irritating . Intially it was ignorable but now this problem shows up in every next 10 mins . Please help .

 

SOLUTION TRIED :

clearing up cache

Reinstalling premier pro cc 2018 to Local C: drive

Installing cc 2019 ( Same issue was showing up here also )

Link & Unlink media

 

 

I don't know whether it is the problem with my pc or the software .

 

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :

Dell xps15 9560

Nvidia GTX 1050

Ram 8 GB

Serious error occurred after edit changes

Hi,

 

In the middle of my editing the program told me a serious error occured. I had just applied Morph Cut transitions to clips. Which might have caused it, but I had done so earlier in the timeline without errors.

 

INFORMATION:

macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6

Storage available: 50GB (is this not enough maybe?)

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB / Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

Most recent Premiere Pro version (I updated immediatley after error, and it still came up in new version)

Source footage: Editing with 4k h.264 proxies on 1920x1080 timeline, but original is 4k .mp4 (from sony a7rii). I have been editing this kind of footage for a year in PP.

Problem occured a few clicks after applying Morph Cut transitions. Now it occurs if I just open the project and wait a while without doing anything (a minute maybe).

This does not happen when I open older projects.

 

WHAT I HAVE TRIED SO FAR, TO NO AVAIL:

- Creating new project and importing the broken one — still error

- Resetting preferences of Premiere Pro

Image sequence scaling gone wrong since updating to Premiere 2019

Hi there,

 

Would love some advice on how to get my image sequences to work again!

 

I have been doing a lot of image sequences for a project and had no problems, so am now getting frustrated with the update as they are not working.

 

Now when I import image sequences since updating to Premier Pro 2019 the images are chopped. Before, my images would go in and get scaled down to the frame size no problem, so would still show the full image. However now, it will not scale down properly, instead chopping the images that are slightly bigger and in some instances layering two images on the same frame. I have tried adjusting the settings on Media/Default Media Scaling/Scale to Frame Size (but also trying out all the other options!)..I have tried using the scaling tool, and zooming out of the preview, to make sure it wasn't chopped off for me zooming in too much. I tried rendering and it still has the same problem. I have since tried to recreate a recent image sequence I had which worked fine in Premiere 2018, and the same thing happens - the images get chopped despite adjusting all the settings. The images are different sizes, however I did not have any problems before the update, so I am wondering if there is anything else I can do that is less time consuming than adjusting the size of each photo. How do I scale the images down in the image sequence to fit the frame rather than Premiere chopping half the image off? None of the media settings seem to be working!

 

I really appreciate any advice!

My 60fps videos being imported as 59.59fps. Help!

I record minecraft videos at 60fps.  Since the last version 12.1.2 and up, any video I record has a 3 in 4 chance of being imported into PP as 59.99fps instead of 60.  I keep having to revert the software to 12.1.1, where the bug doesn't happen.   This forces my video to be 30fps when I need it to be 60fps. 

 

This really needs to get fixed.  Media info shows that the video is record at 60fps, but for some reason some files get imported incorrectly.

egpu current state

Hi there,

I see that a few folks are using eGPUs on their Macs with PP2018, but as much as I could find on the web, PP is not really improving much in performance, more like the opposite.

Is it worth adding the eGPU? What exactly would be the benefits? I'd be running it from a MacBook Pro13,3.
