Is there a way to make a group with access to shared projects?

So I'm running through the idea of introducing team projects at work and trying to see where there might be potential issues. One of the things I've come up against is how people are able to become collaborators on projects.

 

Hypothetically, if the project owner is absent, or no longer works at our company - how would a new team  member access the projects?

 

    • Is there a way to have a default group maybe where everyone on the team has access to all shared projects?


      Also, I'm a bit worried about how our shared projects are organised in the browser - will it always just make a big list of projects that you are a collaborator on? Or is there a way that you'd be able to browse for projects in the usual way and click on a project file to open it?

Hi, is there any effect that  delete frames tha are too dark or too light?

I've made a video in Time Lapse and some frames are too dark or there are flashes so I'looking for something that almost automatically delete those frase.

Remove sequence part with Javascript

Hello,

 

I want to know if it is possible to remove sequence part with javascript library, is plugin with C++ is mandatory for this kind of things?

 

Example : if my sequence total duration is 40 seconds but I want remove from 22 seconds to 34 seconds, can I do that with javascript with a method like activeSequence.cutPart(22, 34);?

Premiere pro problem

Hi, I am J Regis, I have the master collection cs6 , and I am using the premiere pro for over 4 years now, but lately I can not see the videos in 100% in the source monitor nor in the program panel I do not know why? can somebody help me out please!!!!Capture.PNG

Repaired corrupted MOV file can't be imported

I was using Canon 5D Mark iii for video and one of the clips was corrupted.

Searched online for a fix and bought "Stellar Phoenix Video Repair".
The video can now be played by VLC but I am unable to import into Premiere nor upload onto YouTube.
Please help!

Premiere Pro CC 2018 Won't Launch

Within the last two days Premiere Pro CC 2018 stopped launching, or if it did launch, would freeze on the splash screen, project screen, opening a project, or loading a project.

 

I have uninstalled/reinstalled, ensured PC software and drivers are up-to-date, restarted the PC and still nothing. I've ended every CC process and relaunched, but still nothing. I can't even open it by clicking on recent projects that I was working on two days ago. I'm not given options to send crash reports to Adobe either.

 

How can I get Premiere to launch/work properly again?

 

I'm using a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with an Intel Core i5-6300U CPU @2.40GHz 2.5GHZ, 8GB of Ram, 64-bit operating system, running Windows 10 Pro.

Premiere Pro CC 2015 list of preset standard Luts

Hi

Can anyone tell me or send me a list of the Luts that come as standard on Adobe Premier Pro CC 2015? I have added a number of Luts via downloading them and adding them into my Luts file in Adobe PP CC 2015 but the problem is I want to return to the Luts that came with the original programme.

Pictures appear wider when put on a timeline?

Many times I have put pictures from my camera onto a timeline after they have been put thru the image processor in Photoshop.   The mismatch usually leaves a gap on the sides and I fill that in with a gray background.   That has always worked well.  This time I am using pictures from a relatives camera.  The pictures from this camera are 2560 x 1920.  After the processing they were at 1440 by 1080.  Again I intended using a gray background on the sides.   When I put these pictures on a 1920 x 1080 timeline, the pictures filled the width of the screen making everything appear very wide.    I tried this using a 1440 x 1080 timeline, same problem. 

Can anyone tell me what is going on?  What am I missing?

Premiere display window only works at certain dimensions

In Premiere when I try to expand or contract the display it either displays the video as black or just weird artifacts from the the previous screen. At very specific deminsions the video will pop up, but if I adjust it at all it goes back to black or artifacts.

 

I just got a new laptop it has the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 4GB card and 16 gigs of ram.

I've updated the drivers on the graphics card and also switched to mercury playback only.

 

I can't figure this one out. Thanks so much!

No Audio on MTS Files After Installing Premiere Pro 2018 (Mac)

I have been bringing MTS files into Premiere Pro (Mac) for years. After upgrading to CC 2018, Premiere stopped playing the audio on MTS files.

 

The only way I have been able to get them to work now is if I use Premiere CS6.

 

I spent an hour with an Adobe worker who couldn't get it to work. Finally, she said it was a known issue, but that I should get a "clean OS" from Apple. Since English clearly wasn't her first language, that didn't make sense to me.

 

Has anyone else has this problem? I can't get MTS audio to play in any Adobe application on my Mac.

Lightroom for video program?

hi,

 

I love the way Lightroom handles images. The way you can edit metadata and create folders inside the program that also creates folders in windows explorer.

 

Do any of you know of a good program that good for sorting video files and putting them into subfolders that will be created in explorer as well? (I tried prelude, but that did not work the way I wanted). Maybe something like Photomechanics for video`?

Warp Stabilization Before Or Replacement with After Effects Composition

Hi All,

 

I have a need to perform Warp Stabilization and also replace with an After Effects composition.

 

I have noticed that if I apply Warp Stabilization to a clip in Premier Pro before selecting replace with After Effects composition, After Effects wants to again stabilize the clip. 

 

This brings ups the question, when is the best time apply Warp Stabilization:

 

  • Never apply Warp Stabilization in Premier Pro.  After replacing clip in Premier Pro with an After Effects composition, stabilize in After Effects and perform all other After Effects operations before returning to Premier Pro.
  • Do not apply Warp Stabilization in After Effects.  Stabilize the After Effects composition after returning to Premier Pro.

Hope this question makes sense.

Defaulting to 2017

When I try to open a project by clicking on it's icon in my folder, I get the message that it was "saved in a newer version of Adobe Premiere Pro and cannot be opened in this version" -- even though it was created and saved in PrPro 2018!  I have to start 2018 and open my project from the start up menu.  Anyone know why it seems to default to 2017 when I try to open anything?

Premiere CC.12 / Media Encoder EXTREMELY slow export

Hi there,

 

I'm trying my first export with the new release of Premiere and I'm noticing an unusual slowness of the renderer.

The multicam project contains:

 

  • 1080p Prores HQ
  • 4K Prores HQ
  • 4K Sony AVCS

 

I applied Lumetri color correction and some resizing. The output is H.264 1080p.

Some months ago I did a practically identical project and the render for 50' was about 60', now, after 3 hours of encoding,15h remaining!

 

I tried to restart, I switched the renderer between CUDA and CL, unchecked "Import natively" in Media Encoder... everything. I report a very low CPU usage during the export, previous versions used to charge CPU (even using Open CL or CUDA) by 60-80%.

 

I run Premiere on a MacPro 5,1 3,33Ghz 6 cores, 24 GB + EVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition. Fresh clean install of OSX 10.12.6, CUDA & NVIDIA latest drivers correctly installed.

 

What's going on? Any advice?

Premiere 11.1.22 memory issues

I have been having memory issues with the 2017 version of Premiere - version 11.1.22 (the current one)

 

Basically, when I open my project - a very large project with a variety of 4K media (MXF, ProRes, R3D, h.264) - the program's memory use maxes out my system's 32GB and crashes. Sometimes I'm able to get the project loaded, work for a bit, then a crash.

 

I'm not sure how this has become so problematic. I had a similar issue with a large project over the summer and solved by rebuilding the project.

 

I have trashed prefs, deleted media cache, done a fresh install, rolled back to previous version, downloaded and tested newest versions, experimented with various combinations of memory settings and allocations (currently have it set to 26GB of my 32). The program ignores my memory limitations and peaks at 100% usage and then crashes. Usually this happens during the loading time for my project, sometimes I can work for a few minutes first.

 

Here are my system specs:

Windows 10

Intel i7-6800K

Ram 32GB

Premiere 11.1.2 (also tried 12)

system OS on SSD

program files, media cache on SSD 2

Media on multiple JBOD HDD

 

If anyone can help, I would love more suggestions.

When I went to the tutorial to learn how to apply transitions, the screen they show looks different than the one I have. I just got Premiere today, is it possible that the Lynda tutorial is for an older version?

HEVC Playback not using GPU - Stuttering

Hi,

 

I have a GTX 1060, Premiere is set up to use GPU Acceleration (CUDA) in Project Settings.

 

When I try to playback a HEVC HDR MP4 file, I get stuttering. In task manager I can clearly see the CPU being used only (Only around 80%). GPU is not. However I get really bad stuttering.

 

If I use MPC-HC, the same video plays back perfectly and Task Manager shows the GPU is in use.

 

This is the video in question. I'd like to know if this plays back fine for anyone in Premiere. Is this an Adobe issue?
