Premiere pro taking forever to export

My export times with premiere are suddenly thirty times longer than normal. I left my computer rendering an hour long video with only some color edits and neat video noise reduction. It went all night, and only rendered 19 percent, with 32 hours to go!! I quit.

  I have an Intel i7 3.5ghz cpu. With an nvidia GTX 670, and 32 gb of ram. Windows 10.

  Please help. It should not take this long, as it was fine just a few weeks ago. I tried using an older version, but to no avail.

I really enjoyed your product until now. I would hate to search elsewhere, but I literally am dead in the water with you guys.

audio problems

since bought the premiere pro my audio is not working.

when trying to add a song - it comes corrupted.

when trying to add a video - it is imported without sound.

 

in the trail version everything was right and the files i used that time are still working.

i already tried cleaning media cache, changing the file name and moving somewhere else.

Premier Pro stop working when I editing 240 fps video

Hi

 

I download Adobe Premier Pro and try it for 7days. I won't create slowmo video but when I insert video program stop working.

 

I import video, move it to time line and move slider.... BUUUM its lagged Program stop working...

 

My PC:

RAM: 2x4GB

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz

GPU: Nvidia GeForce FTX 960

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-H97-HD3

OS: Windows 7

Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules (MAC OS SIERRA)

Hey there,

I was already in contact with the adobe costumer support on telephone but they can´t help so I hope that someone here can help me.
I have an 15" MacBook Pro 2015 with 2,5GhZ and an Intel Iris Pro graphic card and a 2Gb AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphic card. I´m the admin of the notebook.
I´ve updated my OS to the newest Mac OS Sierra so I don´t think that the problem is connected with the graphic drivers.
Any advice of what I can do else?


P.S.: I´ve already checked this site and it DOESN´T help: Error "Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules" | Startup

Premiere Pro - Merged Clips Crashing Project

Hello,

 

I'm running Windows 10 64bit, 16gb RAM, Intel Core i7. Premiere Pro 11.1.0, just updated yesterday after the issue I'm experiencing occurred.

 

The issue: I spent all day yesterday syncing my media, Apple Pro Res and WAVs. I had no problems and was able to view / use the merged clips with no issue.

 

Later in the day I returned to my project to begin cutting and found that whenever I double clicked any of the merged clips to open them in the source window, I would receive a "serious error" message stating that Premiere had to close with no further explanation. However, if I drag one of these merged clips directly into a timeline, there is no issue with playback. Additionally, the raw audio and video have no issue loading into the source window. I made no other changes to my project, hard drive, file structure etc. between finishing syncing and re-opening the project later. I have tried duplicating the project file but that did not fix it.

 

Anyone familiar with this sort of issue? Please let me know if I can provide any further info.

URGENT HELP REQUIRED! SEQUENCE GONE!?

Hi, so I have a screenshot here above of what my screen looks like. I was editing my video and I accidentally dragged my finger along my cursor pad on my laptop and basically my entire video deleted, the sequence disappeared and its now replaced by this huge empty box surrounded by blue lines where the sequence would usually go. I tried importing in my video but instead of seeing the sequence, all I see are huge green audio bars. How can I get rid of this and make it go back to normal?

VR PROGRAM MONITOR only displaying 1:1

Hi,
I'm having an issue with the VR display as it will only show me a 1:1 aspect ratio.

 

I have seen plenty of Adobe and 3rd party tutorials that all show VR mode in a standard 16:9 aspect ratio.

 

Any ideas?

Video saved back to phone the imagen is too small

A video that I had in my phone I downloaded to my computer , trim the video , saved to mobil and them saved back to my cellular, now when I watch the video in my cellular vertically shows the imagen top to bottom is ok but them left to right  is really narrow impossible to see it and if I turn the cellular horizontal  is too small ,don't know how to fix this problem, Thanks, Armando

Flickering selection box in Premiere sequence timeline

I recently switched from an old iMac running CS6 to a new editing PC running CC 2017, and this issue is driving me nuts. Whenever I select anything on the timeline by clicking and dragging, the selection box constantly flickers.

 

Zooming in and out of the timeline causes it flicker, and so does moving clips around. Everything's up to date and all the necessary drivers are installed.

 

Why does it feel so much choppier than CS6 on my old Mac?

Formatting SCC Captions

Just getting to grip with captions. I have imported a .scc file but I cannot see how to change font size/type etc. I can see where you change background colour and couple other things but not fonts

 

I assume this is possible?

losing video quality during/after editing

Device: Sony Handycam 1080HD

 

When I upload to Premiere the footage quality decreases. How should I set my settings so that my quality is maintained? Sometimes when I upload to Youtube, the quality does look better when I set the quality on there.

 

Also, how to remove grainy images? I know there is a noise/grain effect in Premiere, but are there any tips for my camera?

Tried to export a video that's 1.5 hr long and 26 GB, but only got a file that's 8 GB and 1/4 of the video after encode finished?

I'm not sure if this has happened to others, but after Premiere finished the entire encoding process (over 8 hours, error-free), it just gave me a video that was a fraction of the size and length expected.

 

What could be wrong? Premiere said it would be about 26 GB, and I had 66 GB of available space on my HDD, so I think I had more than enough "cushion/buffer space" for the encoding. Both the Project Scratch Disks and Media Cache are also set to this 66 GB drive.

R3D files not supported in Premiere Pro CS6

I am running an iMac mid 2011 with Sierra Version 10.12.4. with Premiere Pro CS6 Version 6.0.5 My media is coming from RED Ravin that I rented so I don't have much more specs than that. The files are 4K and in an R3D format. I have worked with this format in the past with other RED cameras and never had a problem. Can any one help. I see that there are people with similar issues but the answer never seems to fit my situation.

Oh, come on Adobe staff people!

Regarding the changes to titles and graphics workflow in CC17.1:

I understand you want your titling workflow to be as easy and effective as the Motion->FCP7 workflow was back in 2009, but you've missed the mark again!

PLUS, you have this miserable pattern of removing functional tools that I use everyday, and replacing them with completely new "features" that fail to reproduce the functionality of the old tools (e.g. those "obsolete audio effects" in the last update).

Please, don't take away old tools until the new ones are ready to do real work!!

I am so sick of being your beta-tester! I am trying to work over here!

Maintaining Disk File/Folder Structure in PP?

I think I have this right, correct/embellish as needed:

 

We can organise assets within authoring software (such as PP) either directly as on the disk, or using a database layer allowing us to reorganise and rename file/folders AND without modifying the underlying data.

 

For one reason or another, I would like to view media within my PP project as it appears directly on disk, and if I make a change within the project I'd like to see the disk updated. I really like how LightRoom works, where folder contextual menus have "synchronise".

 

Any discussion about why or why not this may be a good idea is welcomed, though I'm convinced that being able to work directly to disk would be a workflow benefit to me and my organisation.

 

Is it possible? Should it be possible? Presuming anyone bites, thanks in advance. Joe

Did Adobe Sneak NVENC h.264 Export Into Pr?

I read through the update notes for the latest Pr, and I didn't happen to see any mention of NVENC hardware exports for h.264 in them.  I may have missed it, to be fair.  However, once Pr was updated, the aftermarket plug-in to provide NVENC exports no longer works.  It complains that the GPU isn't NVENC-capable, which is, of course, incorrect.  What folks have found is that if you dig through Pr's control panel and disable access to the GPU, the NVENC plugin starts working again.  But that, of course, means that all GPU-accelerated effects along with anything else GPU-enabled runs verrrrrry slowly.  Not an idea work-around.

 

However, I did some h.264 exports yesterday, and I noticed an interesting thing:  They were taking about 1/2t.  That's right about the same amount of time a NVENC export used to take: 1/2 the length of time of the video (1/2t).  Previously, using the OEM h.264 export, it would take about time t to export, whereas the NVENC was decidedly faster.

 

These two things sorta makes me think that maybe Adobe snuck some NVENC code into Pr?

Can't export 1hour TV documentary (urgent)

Hi there,

 

first please let me clarify that I am not new to premiere. I use it since years for professional work.

 

I just spent 8 hours trying to solve this Problem, tested everything I could think of (see below) Hopefully one of you has an idea.

 

I have to deliver a 1 hour music documentary for TV, (so it's pretty urgent) and since today I am not able to export the sequence anymore.

 

Just two days ago I did a successfull export and many times before aswell. Now when I either queue the sequence or try to export directly Premiere simply stops working (crashes).

 

But the most confusing thing: I can play back everything in Full Resoloution just fine and natively without preview rendering. No hiccups, everything smooth. That's why I really can't figure out what is causing this.

 

What I've tried so far:

- export just small section of the timeline (crash)

- try to queue the sequence directly in Media Encoder (crash)

- deleting all media Cache files (changed nothing)

- trying to import the sequence to a new project via media browser (crash)

- using the new "export selection to new Pproj" (crash)

- Trying to export Final Cut XML (crash)

- Select all and copy paste into new project (crash)

- duplicate the sequence in Project Panel (nothing happens - doesn't crash but doesn't duplicate either)

- upadating premiere from 2017 to 2017.1 (changed nothing)

 

Again, I can playback everything just fine! My system is running fine, just finished another project yesterday.

 

Does anyone have an idea what could corrupt my sequence but not interfere playback?

Add an animation from side of screen...

(hopefully I explain myself well enough for people to help me out)

 

Specifically, I want to add an animated duck that appears from the side of the screen, quacks, and then disappears - 3 seconds tops.

I want to add this to my Premier Pro video project.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to do this?

Even if it's the right search term.

 

I have Premiere Pro CC 2015 and After Effects CC 2015.

What do I need to upgrade on my pc to start editing 4k

Hey!

 

I need some help to figure out what upgrades to get for 4k editing in Premiere Pro. I bought my pc to use for gaming and have no clue what so ever, if its okay for editing or not.
