I just installed Premiere Pro 2019 (version 13). I prefer using the Legacy Title tool because I find it more straightforward and easy to use. Except... on this latest version I find that when I open it, the tools and actions displays are always hidden. I have to click on the little horizontal bars and call them up. Is there any way I can change this so that they simply appear whenever I open the titling tool? Thanks,

Today, I was editing a reaction video for my YouTube channel.
However, when I rendered it, the finished video wouldn't come out right, only part of the audio actually rendered.
The parts where I was talking had audio, but the clips of the video I was reacting to did not have audio, even though they had audio in the editor. In the finished video though, there was no audio for those sections.
I even reopened the .prproj to make sure the audio worked correctly there, and it did.
I tried exporting the video twice more, to different locations. I also tried exporting just the audio as an MP3. The portions for the video I was reacting to still had no audio though.
Any suggestions for how to fix this?
So I've been having this issue for a while now, sometimes it corrects itself when I restart the program and other times it does not. It's to the point that I had to just post this because I'm tired of it.
Only in my source monitor:
The video and zoom bar somehow block my timecode area, playhead, markers, settings, and everything else in that area. I've tried resizing it, resetting to default layout, restarting the program, closing the panel, messing around with the panel settings to no avail.

I am writing to the internet in a final attempt so as not to go completely insane.
A few weeks ago, I completed a new PC build for 4K video editing.
My setup is as follows:
I shoot with a Panasonic GH5 at 3840x2160 50p 8bit 150mbps MP4.
Premiere Pro LAGS and continues to DROP FRAMES.
The ONLY thing I can think of is RAM. I see that my RAM maxes out while doing the most simple tasks - such as playing back unedited footage.
SO - my next step is to insert another 4 sticks and have a total of 8 sticks of 8G RAM which will give me a total of 64G RAM.
If this STILL doesn't fix the frame dropping and LAG .. I'm going to abandon Premiere Pro altogether - which after almost a decade of loyalty is a damn shame.
I would LOVE to hear what others are doing to ensure SMOOTH 4K playback while editing.

I am working on a video and when I try to make any changes (cutting something out or moving a clip to another timecode) on the Video1 V1 channel, nothing happens or the edit 'doesn't work'. I've never had this problem before, maybe I touched a key that was a shortcut to make a setting be a certain way? I saved and restarted my computer and it's still happening. help!
I just found out about the proxy workflow, so I followed a tutorial yesterday that showed me how to create a proxy preset and then an ingest file, which also added in a watermark so I could tell when I was working with the proxies.
My footage is all 1920x1080, some mts, some .mov. Some is 59fps and some 30. I've read that I can't transcode the 59fps to 30 because it will slow it down, and this is all interview footage which has audio. So I tried to keep the same frame rate as the original and used a Cineform codec with 1280x720 quality 1, and the watermark (image overlay) added. But it keeps changing the size to 1280x853.
All of the proxies it made with this preset are squashed vertically and have black bars above and below, and they're bigger than my originals.
What are the format, preset and codec settings to use for this type of footage on a mac so it can be the same width and height as my original, but smaller and easy to run in a proxy workflow? I've read that the H264 preset is too hard on the computer as well for proxies. So I'm not even sure which format to start with - Quicktime? I'd really like to have the watermark ability on these proxies.

I did a record of mu computer screen using "apowersoft screen record" ans also recording my Iphone screen using the "screen record" feature available.
For an unknown reason when import those 2 the video are not working anymore:

I updated the premiere for the 2019 version, reinstalled the audio and video cards and quicktime 7.7.9 however the program is giving error when trying to open the mov format.
Does anyone know why?

All original files for these files with .symlink extension were created in Adobe Premiere Pro, so there couldn't be any problems with compatibility or cracked files. Files with extension .symlink were created using standard Windows 10 functions (CMD & command "mklink"). I have checked how Adobe Premiere Pro reacts on .symlink extension and found problems in its workability. Example: Taking file "clipbefore.mov" -> using command "mklink after.mov clipbefore.mov" (so it will create symlink file after.mov) -> trying to import this after.mov in Adobe Premiere -> receiving such error window, in English it sounds somekind of "Failed to import file. Unsupportable format or cracked file". It is strange because file clipbefore.mov imports without any errors or problems. What is more strange, if we create .symlink file after.mp4 from clipbefore.mov, it imports good.
Extra info: original clip with extension avi/mxf/mp4 after creating symlink file with identical extension like the original file has imported without any troubles. Clip with extension mp4 after creating symlink file with extension .mov also imports (also strange).
I've also tested how it works in Finalcut and there everything goes as it should correctly. Hope this problem will not go unnoticed by the engineer, 'cause in chat it was impossible to solve this problem. Thank you for attention to this issue.

I have footage of a live stage event that was shot in SLOG 3. All the reds in the image are completely blown out and the skin tones are pasty.
I can only do basic colour grading and can't seem to pull it back. Any idea or Luts that might help?

I recently upgraded to Premiere Pro cc 2019 and my anchor points are not showing up anymore. If I click the box icon beside the "Motion" dropdown, still no anchor points show up. Its getting impossible to align or change positions or use the write on effects.
Can anybody help me bring back the anchor points????

Having a problem with this.
Anytime I open a project, it shows this white screen in the preview monitor. Tried with multiple projects. Not working.
Premiere also doesn't quit normally. Have to force quit it.
The error shown is "A low level exception occurred in Adobe Scopes (Transmit::CreateInstance).
Any help would be appreciated!
Hi, here is my situation. I have recorded a video of a musical performance with an audio timecode stream on one of the camera audio channel. The same audio timecode was recorded by the audio guy.
Now, the audio guy edited his musical track and send me a new audio timecode that follow the edits.
My question is: how can I make my video FOLLOW the edits on audio, synching my video track with the new edited timecode?

Am new to Premiere Pro, but was asked to help out with a short film project. It was completed.
Just needed to output AAF files to the sound editor and a quicktime reference. At that time,
I opened the project as a rebuild in a trial version of Premiere. It was just to export the sound
files.
Three months later, a colorist opened the project to round trip via DaVinci Resolve. When the project opened,
the timeline revealed picture edits that did not match the original cut, nor did the picture match
the audio. Every attempt to rectify this has failed. Not one YouTube video I've watched has solved this.
Have no idea what the problem is, especially not being familiar with Premiere Pro to begin with.
All the previous versions of the project do the same thing. I don't understand how the picture cuts
are off from the original and in some cases, picture disappears, but the audio remains.
Very confusing. I'm now looking for suggestions to resolving this.
I am on iMac, OS version Sierra. I have tried going back and forth between Premiere 2018 and 2019.

So I have a 4 camera multicam, i am editing on a i7 3.9Ghz (desktop computer) with a Nvida 1060 GPU and a RAID5 disk. When I play (without any effects/scaling) it is very choppy. My proxies are H.264 MP4 720p (PP preset). Now I know H.264 is not ideal but I am very surprised even on 1/16 playback setting it is VERY choppy. Basically it plays a couple of seconds then is all over the place. In windows the Disk is under 20% and the CPU is 95% and its using around 1/2 of the 16GB memory.
My first question is is this expected behavior, i've just upgraded premier to latest version and it had no noticeable effect.
My second question is what is the codec to use for proxies that uses the least CPU? I don't care what it looks like, I don't mind the 1/16 resolution. Is ciniform really the silver bullet?

The project is stored on two 10TB G-drives of which I'm also editing from.
Pretty much all 18 tb's of footage has been proxied to Pro Res 422

Mid-project premiere randomly started crashing on me with the usual 'a serious error has occurred' error.

I have tried a lot of fixes such as;
Changing the renderer to Software only, CUDA & Metal
Clearing all cache files
Changing the video preview from I-frame only MPEG to Prores & unchecking Composite in linear color.
Resetting premiere.
Reinstalling Premiere.
No effects are used yet next to cross dissolves / constant power
The CPU is an Intel i7 8700K, the PC is a custom build Coffee Lake Hackintosh.
If anyone could help me out with this problem that'd be awesome, the deadline is creeping up on me and the crash is surely not helping that...
