Render Markers to Files OR Create Sequences From Markers

$

This may have been asked before, but here goes (and yes, I did a search...extensively here and google):

Is there a way to set markers within a long sequence containing begin and end times. Either automatically create multiple sequences or video files with the same name as the marker.

I need to do this because I shoot long form Church services (1.25 hours) and need to output the Worship team performances separate from the sermon prior to upload. Currently, I have to duplicate the long video 6-7 times and set the in/out times to correspond to the markers. Then rename the sequences as the markers and then import them all to Media Encoder.

Vegasaur (a plugin for Sony Vegas) has this functionality. Much quicker and easier.

Thanks.

Export not exporting entire sequence

I have 3 clips on the timeline. I go to export / Media and set an out point at the end. I then set an in point at the beginning. The final m2v export is always missing the last 5 seconds of the timeline.

If I remove the first 2 clips and export only the last clip, doing it the same way, the entire clip is exported.

If I replace the first two clips and then re export, the same problem occurs.

It makes no difference what options I choose for output, "Entire sequence", "In to out", "entire work area', ad nauseum.

This is just a simple test for me to see how premier cc works vs final cut pro. I can delete everything and start over, redo this project a number of ways. But what will I do when I have many hours of work and i can't get my project finished?

Getting bad audio glitches on crossfades in nested sequences

I believe I've had this issue a long time ago in a previous version, but I'm now experiencing it with CC2014.  Audio crossfades in nested sequences are causing really terrible glitches.  Sometimes, popping and crunchiness and sometimes just acting like the crossfade isn't even there.

Anyone else having this issue?  Any suggestions on how to fix it other than putting all of my audio on separate tracks and keyframing the fades?

Thanks.

How do i cut out a car in Premiere Pro CC?

So i'm making this short film with some friends and i one of the scenes one of my friends needs to get run over by a car. But we filmed it in a stupid angle so i couldn't use linear wipe. I thougth you then just could cut out the car and add some feather to it. But i've searched on Google and Youtube for answers but can't find anything that can do that.

Is there anyone who knows if there is such an effect in Premiere pro?

It would help me out alot.

Thanks!

How does color bit depth work with dynamic link?

$

So, I've recently been onlining in After Effects due to some specific needs requiring a more VFX-heavy approach. I do all of my cutting in Premiere, but have been finishing in AE. For me that is everything for the picture side of things beyond editing—color correction & grading, effects, retiming, compositing, etc.

What I'm confused about is how color bit depth plays into all of this. I normally work in 16bpc in After Effects, but I've heard that Premiere is limited to 10-bit, even in output. How does this affect dynamic link clips in the timeline of a Premiere project? Are they rendered for playback and export using Premiere or After Effects?

Thanks in advance to any help anyone can give on this topic.

Is there anyway to have Premiere Pro recognize the "in" & "out" points and the sequence's "home" (first frame) as edit points so that the up & down arrow work as short cuts on these areas?

How do I enable "create multi-cam source sequence" option?

I am trying to create a multi-cam sequence of an interview. I have one audio file (.wav) and two different camera angles (.mov's). I highlight all three and right click, but the "Create Multi-Cam Source Sequence" option is disabled. I tried going to Clip in the menu as well. No luck. How do I enable this so I can create a multi-cam sequence?

Cutting edges of video off?

Hello,

I was just curious if there is any way I can cut the right of left half almost off my video?  The way I currently record my videos have it so my face is on the far left side of the camera and I just place the rest of the blank video off frame so it looks like my "face cam" is just a square.  Is there anyway to get rid of that extra stuff I'm placing off frame so I just have the part of the shot I'm interested in?  My webcam and camcorder record in widescreen but when it comes to editing I'd like that extra space to not be there.  I've attached an image as an example below

Screen Shot 2015-04-08 at 5.51.27 PM.png

Sorry if it's poor quality.  I'm at work and can't access my home computer from here.  Basically what I am asking is, is there any way for me to make a letterbox widescreen video file and make it record or be edited into a square?

Analog Tape Input to Premiere Pro

$

I am a newcomer to Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2014 Release).

I would like to capture footage recorded on analog tape by

an older camcorder.  I don't have a FireWire port

on my Windows PC but I can install one.  My question is:

how do I connect the RCA cables coming out of my camcorder

to the FireWire port? What kind of device or card would I need?

I should mention that I have Pinnacle Studio 12, which came with a

Dazzle DVC100 device. The Dazzle device plugs into my PC's USB port,

and it accepts the camcorder's RCA cables as input.  Pinnacle Studio 12

created an AVI file from the analog input.  But I felt the quality of file

was somewhat poor, so I am hoping that if Premiere Pro can capture the tape footage

I will get a better quality file.

Thanks!

Premiere CC Crashes on a regular basis, what am I doing wrong?

I've been using Premiere for about 2 years now, I subscribe to CC and update apps as they are available. I use a late model maxed out macbook pro which is my primary workhorse, I don't play on it and only use premiere and photoshop.

I cannot finish a single project without AT LEAST one fatal crash resulting in corrupted project files most of the time loosing hours to days of work. I'm ready to just call it quits and switch to anything but Premiere.

What troubles me is that I am not doing anything demanding, very basic editing and color grading using magic bullet. I keep every project on its own external SSD. I ensure Premiere is the only app running when I am editing. Plenty of local disk space and external space. This has been a reoccurring problem which began on my previous generation MBP when I first started using Premiere.

I don't update Premiere in the middle of projects, learned the hard way to finish and update when available. I have no formal training in premiere so I'm beginning to think I must be a complete idiot and am not using the software properly.

Does anybody else have the same problem? Are there any common user related problems I may be causing unintentionally? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. If you need additional info please feel free to ask. Thanks.

I have PPro CS5 and I have a gameplay video I recorded that is 60 mins long. Is there any way to simply split this video into 6x 10min clips the export process or anywhere else for that matter (kind of like what Twitch.tv does when exporting to youtube), or does this need to be done manually?

Hi, just adding an image to my project, but the aspect does not seem right? I have to stretch my image to fit and it doesn't look right?

I assume I have 2 options, stretch the image and let it look wring, or adjust my image in Lightroom or Photoshop to fit the dimensions of premiere? (I don't want to shrink image to leave black boarder on project.

Do I have to resixe image to 16:9 as to what it is in Premiere?

i've been editing for 5 hrs. i save every 10 - 15 min. The saves are logged on my scratch disk. PPCC crashed during an operation. When it opened again, NONE of the past 5 hours work was saved. The saved files were shown in the Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save file by the time they were saved yet NONE of them have any of the past 5 hrs of work.

What's going on? Any clues?
