I am trying to render a project for youtube. I have uploaded screenshots of my render settings, which were recommended by other users as I am using the trial and dont know if I want to pay for this program. (The Advanced Settings for Audio has bitrate checked) It rendered with a mp4 ending but youtube says it isnt recognized. Is this normal or is something wrong with my settings?
Running PPro CC2014 on Mac and it crashes every 5 minutes
When I export a video in Premiere, it exports it as a 1KB file. I can't open it or play it. I'm exporting it as an mP4 file (H.264/NTSC). I've done this many times before with no problems. Any suggestions why it's suddenly not working for me?
I have been running Prem Pro CS5 on a Windows 7 system for many years and it's time to upgrade to Windows 8.1 with an i7 processor.
Will CS5 still run on the new PC?

I was working on a project in premiere pro and then suddenly the main preview window stopped working. I try to press the play button, but I keep getting the same error message in the events window: "A low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Player (Player).
Seems like some other people have had this problem, but I cannot seem to find the solution. If any knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Very new to video editing here. I have a goPro HERO 3+ that I've used to shoot lots of footage, in the ocean, from a small airplane, and so on. Now comes the fun task of trying to make something nice out of it all. So here are the details of my machine:
Dell Inspiron 15 5000 with i7-5500u @ 2.4 Ghz. 16GB Ram. AMD Radeon R7 M270 with 4GB. It came with a 1TB Hybrid drive: 5400 RPM + 8GB SSD. I've since removed this drive and am using it in an external enclosure via USB 3.0. I have about 100GB of footage right now and nothing else on this drive. All of my footage is shot in 1080p (nothing higher). I plan to continue using this drive for my 'source' footage. Once I removed this drive from the laptop, I put in a 240GB Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD (after windows 8 + apps, figure about 150GB left). After reading multiple threads here and elsewhere, it seems 'segregation' is key for best performance. Premiere Pro is obviously installed on internal SSD, and as previously mentioned, the raw footage sits on the [now] external 5400 RPM drive. It seems I need something other storage location for project files, output files, and cache. So what is the best option just to get my feet wet. Shall I get a 7200 RPM USB 3.0 Lacie 500GB drive? Shall I get a 128GB PNY Turbo Flash Drive? The idea would be to take the rendered output and move it off somewhere - most likely into cloud storage to free up this 'working' drive once more.
My typical completed videos will be about music video/one song length, consisting of footage from 2 to 3 angles sometimes on the screen together. I do intend to use many overlays, effects, transitions, etc. Any input is appreciated.

So I'm attempting to color correct a camera at a time (multiple clips from the same source clip) which in recent projects I did individually. Is there a way to select an entire string of clips and color correct them and apply all at once in a nested sequence or am I doomed to color each individual clip in the nested sequence with no selection and paste options? We have an issue when we send a film to the media encoder it crashes about half of the time for no particular reason. Anyone else got that too with Premiere Pro CC and the new Media encoder?
I am new to premiere and read online that it would be good to use Cuda instead of OpenCL. I decided to install it. I read online there were issues with the driver and Yosemite OSX last year but that the newest update fixes it.
I have the latest version of OSX Yosemite 10.10.2, I downloaded the latest Cuda driver from Nvidia's website, which is 7.0.35. My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB. Right now I am on location so I'm only using the laptop screen, however I use it with dual thunderbolt monitors at home. So, I do not know if it pixelates on there or not.
It does not do it all the time. When it does do it, if I click the window it's doing it on, it'll go away and go to normal. Why was this not fixed? How do I uninstall it? I googled and couldn't find how to uninstall it for 10.10.2.
Or is this issue happening with some of you guys and you just deal with it? I could live with it, it's not horrible as it doesn't stay pixelated. However, I'm afraid it might have issues I haven't seen yet, such as when I output to my 27 inch monitors.

I'm using a Mac and running Premiere Pro CS5. I'm trying to make a timelapse but I can't find the option to import the images as a sequence video clip. It just comes up with an option for 'numbered stills' or to import the whole folder.
Also, is there a way to create an effect that goes over the whole video, such as increasing the lighting levels over a period of seconds so that when my timelapse darkens I can increase the brightness?

I am considering returning to Premiere after a lengthy project on Avid MC. I really like a lot of what Adobe is doing and I did enjoy working on Premiere CC. I've recently read that speech analysis has been dropped, but I'm not clear on wether or not you can still link script text to a clip and still run the process to link the text to the dialogue. I'm guessing the answer is no, which is unfortunate. The producer I'm working with specifically wants Avid MC because of the script sync technology. I have to say it is great. I told her it was possible in Pr, but then I read the news.
Anyone have advice/information?

Just shot some footage with Nikon D7100, 1080p 23.4fps.
I have recently exported on these settings using the H.264 with no issue.
Today I sped the footage up to 2500% (20 min down to 35 seconds) and when I export it is turning my video into a squashed box that has been dramatically degraded.
I doubt this is to do with speeding up though?
These are my settiings. Any ideas? It will be something stupidly simple.
I moved my video files to an external HD and I am re-linking the video files from a previous version of Premiere (CS5 for some, and CS6 for others). When attempting to re-link those files, it throws an error message: "File format not supported".
I am able to import those same files into my project just fine, so they do work, but for some reason trying to link them does not work. Any ideas?!
Hi guys, I'm about to renew my computer, mainly would use for video editing, motion graphics with Adobe suite like 3D modeling and animation with 3d studio max. Basically I do corporate video and animation companies. some video documentary times. the question is whether the Nvidia GTX 970 card gives me good performance for the type of work I do and if 16 GB of RAM are enough.
How do you fix corrupt Premiere project files? It just says "The Project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened" at start up.

I spent 2 hours this morning with support on live chat, but unfortunately it didn't fix this problem.
When I try to play a sequence, the program window freezes, and I hear only audio. I can't stop the playback with the space bar, I have to click in the seq window to stop it.
Also, I have no external video monitor. Although the BlackMagic card is shown in the Playback Menu, I have no picture.
This is getting really frustrating. It is intermittent, so I'm having a problem to isolate the cause. It is like this for a variety of projects, HD and SD.
My machine specs:
HP Z820 Workstation
Win 7 pro
64 gigs RAM
N vidia Maximus(Quadro6000 + Tesla C2075) Latest Drivers installed.
Like I said before, it is intermittent, but seems to be getting worse.
It doesn't matter if I use the mercury playback engine, or software only, its the same. I also changed the seq settings back and forth ( as suggested by support), and although this worked then,
it seems to be a temp fix because now it's not working.
The first thing support said to me was that premiere cant work with 2 cards, which is wrong. The setup that I have was recommended by Adobe.
Has anyone else similar problems? Can anyone suggest a solution?

EDIT: After a new start, it works. But When I swap back and forth in between AE and PP, the external Video monitor wont. In AE, the option for the Intensity Pro card is not highlighted....
One of the Project not opening in Adobe premior pro
I am having a reoccurring problem with CS6 Premiere -- after working on the project for about 2 hours, all of a sudden the bins are empty. None of the assets I have imported appear in the bins -- very disconcerting! I save the project, shut down Premiere and then reopen and it is all there, all bins come in loaded with assets. This really slows down my work flow and appears to be happening more often. The bins still appear but there is nothing in them -- the project still plays so the media is there somewhere -- I just can't access it. I have tried importing new media when this happens and it doesn't import. Has anyone had this problem? Do you think it is a Windows problem? Am using most current Windows OS 8. Thank you in advance for any advice you might have! Jennifer
