I tried installing CC2015 and it is so ridden with bugs that crash and do not work, it is completely unusable. I need to re-load CC 2014. In the past, the new installation did not delete the older version. This time it did (Had I know that I would never have upgrade). But I need to re-instal Premiere cc 2014. How do I do it? I can't find it on the CC apps list.
I don't have time now to narrow it down now, here is some information:
- Happens immediately on mouse down.
- Error message: Premiere Pro has encountered an error [..\..\Src\TextPopup.cpp-313], followed by a red popup: An input contract violation occurred.
- Editing the mask with the controls in Effect Controls works, as soon as i try to do anything (resize, move, feather) in the Program monitor the crash occurs.
- Windows 7 64 bit.
Here are my system specs:
3.4 GHz Intel i4770k
16 GB Ram (2400 Mhz) DDR3
GTX 770 (4 GB) GeForce Driver 353.06
SSD- Run Adobe
HDD- Scratch Disks, Cache
I've been using Premier CC 2014 for several months without an issue. Source of all my footage is 1920 x 1280 29.97 fps. I upgraded to 2015 and it keeps crashing when working on the timeline. Should I just revert back to 2014 and wait for fixes???

Adobe Please HELP!!! Please let me know if you require any additional info.
Hi all,
I have no idea why but when I import my clips into Premiere Pro, it messes the order of them around. Does anyone know of a way to order the clips in their Bin by name?
Thanks,
Mike
Am I missing a setting somewhere or was this release really that bad? Does it need to index something? The playhead and video will stick while the audio continues, then the audio will drop while video continues. It's a mess.
Hi, I am trying to replicate the effect at the very beginning of this video. I am not sure exactly what it is called but its the one where it kind of "rolls" through the picture and black kind of like its on actual film. If anyone can help I would be so thankful! Thanks in advance!
Here's a photo of the part im talking about
why is my video fast and my audios normal?how do i fix?
After installing Premiere Pro CC 2015 I'm unable to effectively play my video inside the timeline.
I should note that the same exact video and audio files work perfectly in my previous version of CC 2014.
Typically when I hit the play button nothing will happen, and then after a period of time it will stutter back and fourth between a small loop (no audio present) and give an error that says "Audio and video clock out-of-sync at (time location) in "Adobe Player"
I've tried full uninstalls and re-installs of the Premiere Pro CC 2015 software with no success. I've also tried deleting all Premiere Pro preferences from my user settings with no success. I should also note that After Effects CC 2015 is acting strangely as well often giving me errors about not having enough frames, so I am unsure if these are related. Once again the CC 2014 version works flawlessly.
For reference the video file is a .avi with Xvid compression and the audio is a .wav. These have always been used the exact same with in CC 2014 with no issue.
Computer:
Windows 8.1 - fully up-to-date
Nvidia 780 GTX video card
32GB of ram
3770K i7 processor
All Nvidia drivers are also up to date.
I also ran a full virus and malware scan just in case for some strange reason that was as fault, and I ran into zero issues. Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator CC 2015 all seem to work great.
I'm quite technically savvy and this one has me stumped, which really stinks as I was looking forward to the potential speed improvements of the updates. C'est la vie.

Hi, all.
Everything working very smoothly with CC2014, but once I upgraded to 2015 the system has not been running PPro well at all. Once I open PPro and open a project, the RAM usage jumps to 38% and sits there... After I start playback on any clip, the usage jumps enormously! CPU usage peaks and the ram jumps way up and hangs there. The CPU usage bounces up to 100% sporadically and then back down.
The same projects I am working on right now used much, much less RAM in 2014. All projects have the same result. Could I have a RAM issue? This doesn't seem likely, because :ightroom, Photoshop and all others work just fine (all CC2015).
I have my memory optimized for performance, tried optimized for memory and the result is the same.
Is anyone else having this issue?
May need to downgrade until the issue is understood.
I have seen a few other postings with sort of similar issues.
Any insight much appreciated!
Thank you!
Best,
Donal
Hi,
My project is encoding and it appeared a window saying: If audio is in 2-pass VBR encoding mode, try either CBR or 1-pass encoding. When I tried again I selected 1 pass but the preset changes to custom and I want it to be HD 1080p 25. How do I change VBR TO CBR? If I change from VBR to CBR it doesn't changes the preset?
Hi totally new to video editing just looking to take it on as a hobby.
Considering the above spec. Just wondering what your thoughts on it are for entry level.
Will be recording from canon DSLRs. I don't mind longish rendering times just want play back to be reasonably smooth when editing and applying effects .
Thanks in advance for any advice.
I rendered a video in Premiere Pro cc 2015 and now when I play it there is a blue stripe across the frame with this message: New frames need analyzing; click Analyze.
I can’t find “analyze” anywhere. I’ve restarted the computer, re-signed into Adobe, nothing works. Can anyone please tell me what is happening and how to fix it?
Thanks!
Bill
I am trying to add text to a video clip; and when I click Title, the text editor box doesn't open - it just creates the title but I am unable to see it in my project.
Forgive my English) Every time i am rendering it crashes THAT SIMPLE.. Help Please is not the first time
Working with Premiere Pro CC 2014, but I've seen this in other versions.
If I make an edit, I bring the playhead to the out edit point, often using go to next edit shortcut, and select OUT POINT. But if you zoom in far enough, there is a small line that is 1 frame long to the right of the playhead. This is where it puts the OUT point, not at the edit point. This means I end up with edits that look like this:
_______]_______
______]________
_______]_______
The edit points don't line up. If I have to do any trimming, I first have to fix these edits. Is there a setting I'm missing that will allow me to set the edit point AT the playhead instead of 1 frame to the side of it?
It's no longer possible to edit source settings in CC 2015.
Anyone out there with similar experiences?
Upon installing cc2015, I've come across some things that are different, and are quite frustrating, from cc2014. Any ideas on how to change these small behaviors to act like they used to?
Overall though, some nice improvements. Wish the morph cut would work on shots that don't contain faces (aka, would be cool for VFX transitions and reveals).
